A white wine made from Delaware and Steuben, both red grapes making this basically a blanc de noir. Most of the juice was pressed right off the skins into stainless steel to ferment but a portion of each got a 12 hour soak on the skins before being blended back into the tank. Not enough to qualify as orange or rosé but plenty for an impressive confectionery aroma and smooth texture. It’s almost like a fruitier, more papaya-ish white with some similarities that even remind us of Viognier. -Matt
