The first wine release from Metal House! Located just south of our shop in the neighboring town of Esopus, Metal House has been making lovely ciders of New York apples we’ve happily sold for years. They’ve always had a hobbyist hand in winemaking as well but finally decided to make the leap and release their own wine.
A sparkling white made of Long Island-grown Chardonnay grapes finished in the bottle as a non-disgorged ancestral method. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, no oaking. Completely dry with a yeasty body that mingles with the bubbles for textural wine with a brisk finish. Notes of pear, white nectarines and grapefruit. An absolute delight. -Tristen Gild
Come Here My Love is our first wine! Made solely from Long Island Chardonnay, fermented in stainless and bottled in the Ancestral Method. Delightful Mouthfeel and lingering sweetness of pear and pink grapefruit. complimented by a racy acidity. Undisgorged.
