Year to year, this is arguably the wine that's stunned us the most. We're not one's to hate on Merlot here but, wow, if you needed a reason like Merlot in the first place this is the wine you got to try. This is sourced from a backyard vineyard on the eastern edge of the north fork, fermented whole cluster with punch downs and rested in neutral oak. It's dark and brooding with real structure. Expect graphite, pencil shavings, plum skin, herbs and spice that may fool you into thinking you're drinking Cabernet.
