Dry Riesling from the Finger Lakes with a decent percentage of the berries having the 'noble rot' or Botrytis on them. Abundant nectarine and pear notes matched with oxidative qualities of hay and almond skins. Fantastically structured and bearing great minerality of the shale soils, another example of how Eminence Road should be regarded as one of the best deals in New York wines. Natural fermentation, no filtering (tends to pour a bit hazy), and nothing added save a miniscule amount of sulfites at bottling. - Tristen Gild
