A highly charming rustic red made of a blend of native red varieties of the northern reaches of Piedmont. Undeniably Alpine, with taunt structure, mountain berries and flowers mingle with moderate tannins. A field blend that varies by vintage of Nebbiolo, Bonarda, Vespolina, Barbera and Uva Rara. All the grapes are organically farmed and the fermentation is with native yeasts. Bottled unfiltered and unfined with only a small addition of sulfites. - Tristen Gild
